"Yes. I DID ARRIVE ON A SUNDAY. This hotel is going through some remodeling and should be closed until completion. The outside entrance was taped off with no sign as to where to enter the building. It seems paver bricks had been installed with no cleanup at all and just left until the next work day. I walked in through the tape over a very messy area into the lobby. I was then told, I should have used the rear door, NO SIGN. Check in was fine although my room was not ready. This was at 2 and check in time was at 3. I told her I would wait in the lobby and would she let me know when the room was ready. She said, 'No, your room will be ready at 3, that's check in time.' How do they do it so that all rooms are ready at exactly 3? Some have to be ready before that, and I was waiting. When I drove around and found the rear door, it was propped open. NO SIGN. When I got into my room July 25 the room was very warm. I went to the controls. The fan button was pushed in as was the HEAT button. ?? The temperature control knob was all the way to cold. ?? I pushed the cool button in, the heat button came up. Then a loud clicking noise started that I could hear from the hallway with my room door closed. I kept it that way, thinking at least it would cool off the room. Cool air was blowing out. I went to the desk and told her about the clicking. 'Do you want to change rooms?' No, I wanted that room because I was travelling with my sister who was in the next room. The room she would change me too was 2 floors higher and at the other end of the hotel. 'It's the weekend and there is no one to fix the clicking.' I kept the room. It was still clicking when we returned from or errands and dinner, but it had cooled off enough, and when I went to sleep I shut it off. That's my story."
